Go Ape! & Ghyll Scrambling

I'm a chicken when it comes to things like heights, climbing and deep water. So, you can pretty much gather how scared I was to do the Go Ape! course for my sister's birthday. I thought I'd be crying the whole way round in all fairness. However, I did survive without shedding a tear and it was a really fun experience, especially if you're an adrenaline junky or love more "out-going" activities.
Whilst we were in Keswick for the week we also did Ghyll Scrambling. I'm not very brave AT ALL so it took me a fair few goes before I would actually slide/jump in the ghyll without being petrified of getting stuck. If you bruise easily, it's definitely not an activity for you!

London: Sight Seeing, London Dungeons & Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

As you've probably gathered from a few of my previous posts, I visited London again last weekend with my sisters. We spent most of our time shopping (no surprise there!) but we also visited a few London Attractions such as The Dungeons and Madame Tussauds, as well as going to see a show. I didn't know what to expect from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; I had no idea how they'd be able to pull of all the different scenes on stage but they performed it so well and I was left amazed at how good everyone was.
We visited the Dungeons and Madame Tussauds on the last day. I'm such a wuss so I was petrified all the way through the Dungeons but I still really enjoyed it; the actors and the scenes were so realistic (especially the smell.) It is definitely not for the faint hearted! I also couldn't believe how real the wax figures looked in Madame Tussauds, it was crazy! Of course there was a huge crowd and people were pushing and shoving to try and get a photo with all the "celebrities" but it was still a really good attraction to visit.

How To Style Pink Culottes

These Zara culottes are my new favourite item of clothing. I bought them a few week ago when I was in London and I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them (sad, I know!) I opted for a simple look with just a plain white vest and black espadrilles, as I didn't want to go over board with the colours; I wanted the culottes to be the centre of attention.

OOTD: Cinema Date

I went to see the film Southpaw the other day with my boyfriend and I can honestly say it's the best film I've seen in a long time. I cried. A lot. You should definitely go see it (but don't forget the tissues!!) I love how a white shirt and jeans looks simple, yet still well put together. I added tonnes of rings and a cute necklace to give a more boho vibe.

Camden Market

I love markets for finding items of clothing or jewellery that are unique/different to the things in high street shops. If you're in London for a few days and have the time, you should definitely head there for a completely different experience to the shops on Oxford Street. The whole vibes ranged from Boho to Arty, to Rock and Goth. I picked up a few different items; mostly jewellery and also a bag (and a sassy pillow case!) My outfit on the first day was a take on Kylie Jenner's recent looks; pale blue ripped jeans and a vest. I think heels would have dressed the look up more, but I couldn't bear to wander round London all day in uncomfortable shoes!!

Amazing Hair Care Products For £1?!?!

Yes, the title is correct, I didn't make a mistake. I've been using the same hair care products for over a year now and they keep my hair in such good condition, it always feels so soft and I even use quite a bit of heat on it most of the time. Whilst the packaging is pretty plain and boring, the products are still really good quality for the price. I couldn't believe it when I realised I'd been using a £1 shampoo and it was actually working for my hair! You can pick up the shampoo, conditioner, oil and hair mask from pretty much anywhere; Savers, Body Care... I use the hair mask once or twice a week and it really does make a difference to your hair! I also use a tangle teaser now instead of a normal brush as I feel that it is so much better for my hair; my hair is always knotty and normal brushes literally rag my hair out. I rarely put the oil on my hair, but I wouldn't recommend using it daily.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Review

This post is very overdue. I'm on my second bottle of the Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation and I can honestly say it is the best foundation I've ever used! I've previously tried the Mac Studio Fix Fluid and found that whilst it gave good coverage, it made me break out and it was also really cake-y on my skin. In comparison, Double Wear is the holy grail of foundations. It gives such a good coverage and you can definitely build it up more (if I want a little less coverage I mix it with a moisturiser.) It seriously stays in place all day and doesn't budge! I don't even set it with a powder and it still stays on all day! The only fault I have is that it doesn't come with a pump, so if you pour out too much you can waste the product, but my friend recommended that I buy a Mac pump for it as it fits perfectly. The foundation is quite expensive (£30) but it's seriously worth it if you're looking for an amazing high end foundation. I recommend getting matched up when you go in (I went to my local Boots and the woman was lovely.) You can also request a sample, so you can test it before you buy it.

London!

I love London. The hustle and bustle on the underground, the street performers, the shops. It's all so hectic, crazy and exciting (minus the rude people that barge past you!!) There is so much to do that you're constantly pushed for time. Instead of trying to cram everything into one day, we decided to go to the Tower on the first day, and then see Wicked at night. The singers in the show were amazing, I literally got goosebumps because they were that good! On the second day, I of course wanted to go shopping and so we trailed back and forth along Oxford Street. We then did a spot of sight seeing, before heading home. It all sounds very boring, condensed into a small paragraph, but I really don't want to go on forever about every minuscule detail.
P.s you can watch my video here!
